SMS Privacy Notice
This notice explains how The Layssa Cosmetic Surgery Awareness Foundation, Inc. handles information connected with its text-message program.

Information we collect
When you interact with the text-message program, the Foundation may collect:
- Your mobile telephone number
- The date, time, and method of your opt-in, opt-out, or request for help
- Consent status and the message subjects you agreed to receive
- Messages you send to the Foundation’s toll-free number
- Message-delivery, error, and support records
Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, treatment photographs, insurance information, identification documents, or other private health information by text message.
How we use the information
We use text-message information to:
- Deliver the messages you requested
- Send opt-in, opt-out, and help confirmations
- Respond to support requests
- Maintain consent and suppression records
- Protect the program from misuse and comply with applicable requirements
We do not sell or rent mobile telephone numbers or text-message consent.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Retention
The Foundation retains proof of consent for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the program, meet applicable requirements, and demonstrate when and how consent was obtained. After an opt-out, limited suppression information may be retained to ensure that additional messages are not sent without new consent.
Your choices
Reply STOP to cancel messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You may also contact contact@layssafoundation.org with a privacy question about the text-message program.
Security and delivery providers
The Foundation uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information involved. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure. Text messages may pass through telecommunications carriers and messaging-service infrastructure.
Children
The text-message program is not directed to children under 13. Do not enroll a telephone number unless you are authorized to use it and provide the requested consent.
Changes to this notice
Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. A change will not expand the subjects of recurring messages without any additional consent required by applicable rules.
